We had our first mentor session with Tim & Franicia at their home recently. We enjoyed it so much, that we wanted to offer the same opportunity to others! Our only restriction is that you must live/plan to establish your photography business 100 miles outside of Pensacola, FL.
David and I had the opportunity to attend Brides/Brides Atlanta’s premiere party for the new show on TLC, Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta. Ummm, how exciting was that??? Most of you know that I was born and raised in the Atlanta area and that we always enjoy an excuse to drive up there. So, we got together our outfits (total torture for both of us, we are jeans & t-shirt people all the way) and worked out plans to meet up with our awesome friends Rae & Wes to ride together to the party.
First order of the evening, get some quick portraits in downtown Atlanta. Great idea, but I tell ya… it was HOT!

It really was a great evening! We got to meet a lot of new people and see all of our favorite Atlanta wedding vendors. We also took a lot more photos, but mostly with our iPhones. How sad is that? LOL The event was truly wonderful to be a part of and we can’t wait to see more episodes of Say yes to the Dress Atlanta!

Ceremony and reception - 902 Ariola, Pensacola Beach
Joy is such a delightful and beautiful young woman, who really found her perfect match in Caleb. He just adores her and watching their faces light up around each other made the day even more special. They brought their close friends and family from Louisiana to Pensacola Beach for an intimate, laid back beach wedding. The weather was perfect, lovely blue skies and water to match the wedding decor… and Joy’s eyes.

We met up with Brain and Ashley in downtown St.Petersburg, and later at the beach, for their engagement photo session. They are getting married in that area next year, and we are so excited about shooting their wedding. Not only are these two super gorgeous, but they are a kind and loving couple. It was great having some time to get to know them and seeing how they interact in front of our cameras, while exploring the area. Can you guys imagine how stunning Ashley will be on her wedding day?

Our first meeting with Aaron and Nia gave us a glimpse into who they were and what their wedding day might have in store for us! The had us dying laughing and feeling like we had known them their whole lives. They love each other very deeply, but are carefree and laid back in each other’s presence… like a couple married 50 years. Though their wedding day started off with some pretty nasty weather, Nia held her composure and prayed it would all work out. God was listening, because the rain stopped from the beginning of their ceremony until right after we finished the last of the posed photos! Aaron and Nia just spent the rest of evening loving on each other and all of their family and friends. Such a wonderful, tight knit group of people who will be a great support throughout their marriage.
As you will notice in some of the photos below, they kind of like jumping photos. Both Nia and Aaron are volleyball players, and can get some serious air. Then at the end of the evening we were all treated to a light show of fireworks… and lightening. Awesome night!
We spent a lovely evening at Pensacola Beach with Marcus and LaChandra… walking, talking, and taking photos (of course). They are total sweeties and I was thrilled to see them walk up with these outfits. We love some colorful clothes for beach session! These two will be getting married in Texas next year and I know it will be an amazing day. Marcus and LaChandra have a special bond that will help them build a strong marriage.

Chris and Lacey had a beautiful beach ceremony in Seaside, FL and the reception poolside at a nearby community. We shot Lacey’s bridal session a couple of days before the wedding and got a preview of how gorgeous she would be on her wedding day. They are a loving couple who have an awesome group of friends, we had a blast doing photos after the ceremony! It was a perfect evening.
Chris & Lacey, we both wish you many years of happiness together… we know you will have a great marriage.

On to the session…. Tristian was vacationing in Destin, FL with her hubby, kids, parents, and siblings, so we scheduled a sunset beach session. I think David and spent more time talking to them than shooting. LOL They are such warm, genuine family who share a lot of the same beliefs, dreams, and goals as we do. Tristian’s and her family are also as mega-gorgeous on the outside as they are on the inside. I’ll quit gabbing, here are the photos…
