Band Photography - The Ineloquent

Wanted to share this with you guys…

Last year we had an impromptu photo session with our friends Daniel, Georgi, and Pablo of The Ineloquent (you may remember these photos.) Just a few weeks ago they mailed us a copy of their new cd/dvd with OUR PHOTOS on the cover! Very cool, huh? Check it out….

Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter to see their latest tour dates. You have to see them live, such talented peeps!

David was on the news!

While leaving the BP claims office, David was stopped and interviewed by an Orlando news station.

Check it out…

Skidmore Family @ Destin, FL

I’d like to introduce you all to Tristian, the amazingly creative designer of Gracylu Originals custom head pieces and accessories. While you’re reading this, why not stop over and become her fan on Facebook? I absolutely adore her headpieces and recommend all brides to check out her work before you purchase one anywhere else.

On to the session…. Tristian was vacationing in Destin, FL with her hubby, kids, parents, and siblings, so we scheduled a sunset beach session. I think David and spent more time talking to them than shooting. LOL They are such warm, genuine family who share a lot of the same beliefs, dreams, and goals as we do. Tristian’s and her family are also as mega-gorgeous on the outside as they are on the inside. I’ll quit gabbing, here are the photos…

Lacey’s Bridal Session @ Seaside, FL

I officially love Lacey and love Seaside, FL. She is a generous and caring person, who just happens to be stunning. Nice combination, huh? Shooting her bridal session in Seaside was such a breeze. David and I have decided we want to work there all the time.  ;)

Next I will be posting her wedding photos from Seaside. Stay tuned!

Jon & Claire’s St. George Island Wedding

Ceremony & Reception - Turtle Tracks & Sunset Beach St. George Island, FL

Claire and Jon traveled all the way to Florida from Germany to celebrate their wedding day with close friends and family. What a celebration it was! A causal, but elegant beach ceremony and a reception filled with good food, smiles, and lots of love. David and I feel so blessed to have been a part Jon and Claire’s special day. We wish them many years of happiness!

Winner of the “Love in Action” photography giveaway…

… is Juli An Ormsby!!!

Here is what her daughter, Jessica, wrote for the nomination.

“I would like to nominate my Mother, Juli Ann Ormsby. I know this contest is called “Love in ActionSee More” and would normally be the love between a man and his wife, but my Dad passed away in 2003 after losing his battle with cancer. The reason why I choose to nominate my Mom is because of her unfailing devotion to her hospice. During my Dad’s sickness, we used our local hospice chapter for help and support. After he passed away, my Mom decided to begin volunteering as a hospice helper. She regularly visits patients with cancer–sometimes the very strand of cancer that defeated my Dad–with grace, charity, and kindness. She is visiting me for a few weeks, but called her local florist to make sure that her current cancer client had flowers for Easter. I find her devotion to self-less volunteering a true inspiration; personally, I couldn’t volunteer for hospice because of the fact that it is too close to my heart. But, my Mom has chosen to take the pain of loss and turn it into a fire of devoted volunteering to families that are suffering the same emotions as ours did. She knows what they are feeling and uses her own experiences to minister of God’s love to them in their dark times. I love my Mom - even if this entry is simply a testament of her strength and character, I will be over-joyed to give her the recognition she so deserves.”

Congratulations Juli and we look forward to meeting you!!!  ~Jessica & David

Casey & Leslie’s Seacrest, FL Wedding

4/23/10

Ceremony & Reception - Seacrest, FL

Casey and Leslie are pretty much awesome people, so shooting their wedding was like hanging out with good friends. They adore each other and lots of supportive people around them to encourage their marriage. The wedding ceremony was lovely and included their baby (Great Dane) “Dude”. The reception details were stunning, all put together by the groom’s sister, Kelly. We also worked out an impromptu “photo booth” during the reception, so that Leslie can put together a guest book with photos of the guests and their handwritten words of wisdom for marriage.

Leslie and Casey, we love you guys and hope to see you again in the future for some family photos. :)
